AIT Management Team



Joe Vulich graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Joe practiced public accounting with Grant Thornton in Chicago where he also earned his CPA certificate. Joe left Grant Thornton to join AIT in 1995 and is responsible for all the accounting and financial functions at AIT. Joe's interests include playing golf, basketball and softball. Most of all he enjoys coaching his son’s baseball teams.

 

John Vulich is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.A. in Management. John has been in the optical industry working with AIT since 1990. As Vice-President of Operations, John offers the experience and knowledge to operate, repair and maintain the entire line of AIT equipment. John manages our team of plant employees and the technical service team. John is an avid sports fan, who especially enjoys following baseball and football, as well as enjoys bowling and golf. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and is a committee member for his son's Boy Scout troop.


Matt Vulich is graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Economics and is a CPA. Matt has been working with AIT since 1992 where he started as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. Through the years Matt has worked in all aspects of Sales and Marketing and has a thorough understanding of laboratory operations. Matt currently leads the Marketing Team at AIT. Matt's interests include golfing, hockey, the Chicago White Sox, reading history and spending family time with his wife and four daughters.


Mark began his medical sales career in 1978. He's been involved in the optometric field for the past 15 of those years and has been a part of AIT since 1999. His career started in sales, and spiraled quickly upward into upper management, where he now is Vice President of Sales for AIT. His experience in negotiation, business processes, and financing are all beneficial to his sales leadership role. He's lectured on topics ranging from capital equipment purchasing to sales training. Mark aspires to be a professional chef. He's cooked just about everything on his many outdoor grills and smokers. He loves to hike, bike, and fish. He's still after that world-class Muskie!
